สกุชชี่! เป็นการเจริญวิปัสสนาในตนด้วยรูปที่เยือกเย็นและเหลว กรองผ่านทั้งเทคโนโลยีเก่าและที่คาดการณ์ได้ซึ่งได้รับแจ้งจากประวัติศาสตร์แอนิเมชั่นไทยและวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัย และกระบวนการสร้างและเปลี่ยนแปลงตัวตนใหม่อย่างต่อเนื่องเพื่อจำลอง 'การเคลื่อนไหว' โดยการอนุมานและกำหนดเงื่อนไขของ 'การเคลื่อนไหว' ใหม่ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความเข้าใจทางจิตวิทยา ร่างกาย หรือการเมือง งานนี้จะผสมผสานสื่อของแอนิเมชั่นเข้ากับสภาวะซึมเศร้า Squish! is a meditation on the self through lurid and liquid forms; filtered through both old and foreseeable technology informed by Thai animation history and contemporary culture, and a constant process of constructing and deforming new selves to simulate ‘movements’. By extrapolating and redefining the terms of ‘movement’, be it through psychological, physical or political understandings, the work interweaves the medium of animation with a state of depression.
